Hi there!

I haven't been active at all for a very long time, it's only because my life spells chaos.
Anyway, so I have moved around a little but now I have my own apartment with all my stuff!
So I hope I'm going to get started, going to get active.
Right now I'm in the middle of a Chocolate squares recipe, it's in the oven, so later tonight you'll get the first new recipe in months!
I'll hope the passion for baking will start to come back to me now, when I can build up my life again.

I'm actually hosting a cake party in a couple of weeks, then I guess four new recipes will get posted! And I found a wierd bread recipe I really want to try, so I'll guess that end up here to soon.

Apple dumplings/doughnuts

Sorry for the bad iphone pictures, it's all I have.

Yesterday I made Apple dumplinings/doughnuts, don't really know what there called in English, ah well, Äppelmunkar in Swedish.
I didn't like the recipe, and I didn't like the outcome, so I won't write it down.
To bad for you, or not really at all.
But tomorrow I'll write down a sourdough recipe, with day to day pictures!
Something I always wanted, especially the first time I tried to make some.
And of course the explanation behind what it really means to feed your sourdough.
Sure everyone says you have to do it, if you don't just freeze it, but I'll never gotten an explanation on how it's really done, until now!
So sit tight till tomorrow, and I think that on Wednesday I'll make bisques.

Ahoy there!

I haven't baked anything for a while, not since Saturday, it's to many days.
I have to make something tomorrow!
Just have to figure out what, I have three ideas, but I don't now which I want to do most.
Maybe I'll just do all three tomorrow!
Or bake one thing each day for three days.
Oh, we'll see.
Anyhow I'm really looking forward to it!

It's like Christmas!

Today I got a package.
I had no idea what it was, but I had another package to pick up so I went to the "post office" Pressbyrån!
When she gave me the package I still had no idea what it contained, and it was a large package!
Then when I was about to walk home I remembered what it was and I was thrilled!
When I got home I teared into it!
And oh it was like Christmas,
Christmas and Birthday all in one!

I've wanted one for a really long time now.
And right in this moment there's one standing in a box on my kitchen floor!
Now I just have to set it up and start making some Cinnamon and vanilla buns.

Giving in

Yes.
I'm giving in to what the people want.
People meaning my friends and what they want meaning my recipes.
I just hate writing recipes, I hate following them too, I'll just read a recipe and then do it my way,
All the cooking books I own has my notes in them, what to do, and what to don't, what else to add and so on.
But my recipes should be followed, 'cause they are perfect.
Ehm.
No, if you don't want to follow them, then don't, and if you do something different and it works even better then please contact me and tell me so I can make the recipe even better.

It was supposed to be first in English and then a translation into Swedish,
But do you know who much effort and energy it takes to write a recipe?!?
There wont be any translations!
